Meeting our environmental responsibilities
Recognising our role in addressing climate change, we’re always looking for ways to contribute to a better environment. We do this by reducing emissions in our operations from energy, fuel, water, waste, and exploring ways of reusing resources.


Sustainable procurement
As part of our sustainability strategy, we work closely with our suppliers to reduce our environmental impact. In addition to sourcing materials efficiently and ethically, we encourage our suppliers to do the same. We also seek to partner with suppliers who promote economic inclusion by collaborating with small businesses and ensuring prompt payments.
We encourage our suppliers to suggest ways to improve our combined sustainability performance, and to take part in our sustainability initiatives.

Raising awareness
of health and safety
We continually raise health and safety awareness among our directly employed team and our supply chain and subcontractors. As part of this, we drive improvements by tracking Total Recordable Incident Rate (TRIR) across the entire group.

Making our sites
safe for everyone
From working directly on building sites, we’re all aware of the potential risks, and that’s why safety is a top priority for us. We adhere to the highest industry standards, providing ongoing training and the latest protective equipment to ensure that our sites are safe for everyone.
We work with our suppliers and subcontractors to ensure they have the appropriate insurance, and we make sure they’re aligned on training and awareness on health and safety, including culture, policies, and processes.
Employee wellbeing
We’re proud of having one of the industry’s lowest rates of staff turnover. We look after our people and their wellbeing. We do this through development programmes and pathways that encourage upward promotion and career development within the group.
