Role Purpose

To oversee and manage all on-site activities for apartments, ensuring delivery is safe, on time, within budget, and meets high quality standards. This role combines strategic site management with hands-on supervision of crews and subcontractors

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Coordination:

    • Plan, organise, and manage daily site operations
    • Liaise with clients, engineers, architects, and senior management
  • Team Leadership:

    • Supervise site staff and subcontractors
    • Allocate tasks and monitor workforce productivity
  • Health & Safety Compliance:

    • Enforce safety regulations and conduct toolbox talks
    • Maintain risk assessments and ensure compliance with apartment-specific
      standards (e.g. fire safety and working at height)
  • Quality & Progress Monitoring:

    • Inspect work for apartment quality and adherence to specifications
    • Maintain daily logs and progress reports for phased completions
  • Resource Management:

    • Oversee material orders, deliveries, and equipment usage
    • Control costs and minimise waste

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven experience as Site Manager / General Foreman on apartment or multi-unit residential projects
  • Knowledge of construction methods, regulations, and safety standards for residential developments
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Safe Pass, & First Aid)
  • Strong leadership and communication skills

Skills & Competencies:

  • Ability to interpret apartment-specific technical drawings and plans
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in project management tools and reporting

Additional Requirements:

  • Full driving license
  • Safe Pass
  • Flexibility to travel between sites if required
