We are seeking an organised and detail-oriented Site Clerk to join our construction team. The successful candidate will support the site management team by managing administrative tasks, maintaining records, and ensuring smooth site operations. This role requires excellent organisational skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date site documentation, including timesheets, delivery records, and attendance logs.
- Assist with the coordination and scheduling of deliveries and materials.
- Ensure all site paperwork is properly filed and available for management, inspections, and audits.
- Liaise with suppliers and contractors to ensure smooth operations.
- Support site management with various administrative tasks, including correspondence, data entry, and maintaining the site diary.
- Monitor stock levels and manage the ordering of materials as required.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations by keeping records up to date and supporting the site team in enforcing safety protocols.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar administrative role, preferably in construction.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and other office management software.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with a diverse team.
- Knowledge of construction processes and terminology is an advantage.
- Valid Safe Pass certification (or willingness to obtain)
